Andy Heard
Founder & Principal
With over 25 years of industry experience, Andy leads deal selection and capital structuring at Trilith Capital Partners, responsible for structuring the capital stack and maintaining relationships with capital partners. He specializes in acquisition, asset management, and new development opportunities, with a portfolio exceeding $1 billion across various sectors. Previously, Andy was President of Novak Brothers Development, delivering over 1,000 multifamily units worth over $300 million. He also gained experience as managing director for Austin and San Antonio at Hines Interests and served as an analyst for HFF. Andy holds an MBA from Rice University and a bachelor's degree in real estate finance from Southern Methodist University—Cox School of Business.
Todd Madden
Founder & Principal
Todd oversees the development process at Trilith Capital Partners, ensuring the creation of strong development teams capable of guiding a project from its initial concept to its final completion. With over 20 years of leadership experience, Todd is a highly collaborative real estate executive known for achieving solid results in large-scale capital developments. He has led projects with entitlements exceeding $1 billion in valuation and has delivered projects worth over $500 million. Previously, Todd served as a managing director at Novak Brothers, where he was in charge of the development and asset management of multifamily and student housing projects totaling over $300 million. Todd earned a bachelor's degree in finance from Texas State University.
Ryan Holcolmb
Founder & Principal
Ryan manages the underwriting and due diligence process for Trilith Capital Partners, focusing on risk mitigation and capital preservation in acquisition and development opportunities. He combines construction expertise with financial strategy, having managed over $750 million in projects, including $500 million in ground-up construction and $250 million in development and repositioning across various sectors. Previously, Ryan was Senior Director of Finance and Managing Director at Novak Companies, handling capital structuring, underwriting, and deal execution. He is pursuing CFA charter membership and holds certificates in advanced financial modeling from Wall Street Prep and CRE Analyst’s FastTrack program.
